Are you a good candidate for coaching generally? *

Do you have the sense that you are not living up to your full potential as an artist or creative, or that you are capable of more than you have been doing to date? Do you feel that you could use help clarifying and sticking to your goals and realistic next steps? Does the idea of sharing your hopes and dreams with someone who is listening deeply, asking questions and helping you clarify your path and believing in you sound lovely and rich? Do you believe (or want to believe) that you have something of value to offer the world (even if it is not clear at the moment) and real desire to see it come to fruition? Are you prepared to spend time, effort and money to clarify and move toward your goals? Are you not currently struggling with addiction, depression, or mental health issues? Is your base steady and solid so that you are ready to make serious forward movement? Do you have the fear that either your may not be a "real" artist, or your art may not be all that good?

Do you tend to be fairly self-reflective and find fascination in discovering things about yourself and others? Do you enjoy trying new things, experimenting with new ways of thinking, trying on different perspectives? Are you a bit of a day dreamer with lots of creative ideas to the point where sometimes you can get overwhelmed with too many directions or begin to feel like you are a failure because none of them get fully realized? Do you find yourself overwhelmed or depleted by all that is going on in the news and want to be on the side of healing in a way that is true to who you really are (even if what that means specifically is not clear at the moment)? Have there been times in your life when you have had a creative practice of some sort, (such as visual art, music, writing, performing, gardening, cooking), and found it to be deeply rewarding and soul nourishing? Do you sometimes have difficulty pursing your art (in the broadest sense) or investing in it fully because it seems selfish in the face of all the other needs of the culture, planet, family, community? Do you have a respect for the spiritual, but need it to be balanced by the practical? Do you sometimes struggle with self-doubt, procrastination, internal roller-coasters, or overwhelm? Do you believe in the value of exploring the creative unconscious, and are you curious about what you might find there?

If you checked many or most of the boxes above, you might find that coaching with me would be very helpful. The next step is to schedule a conversation. This is a way for us to get to know each other and see if both of us feel that we could work well together. At a minimum it will be an interesting conversation. Most people find that it is very useful and supportive. I do not do a hard sell. If it becomes clear that I could be of help, then we can talk about what it would look like to continue the work.
