TAPROOT Winter WORKSHOP #2
Coming Back to Center- the Path
When: March 9, 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm EDT
(new date- formerly February 9) Where: Zoom Who: For artists and creatives of all sorts. Cost: early bird $45, Standard price after February 20- $65 Part of what it means to be a creative is that you are always on a path of discovery and exploration and the destination is ever morphing. While this is exciting and enlivening, it can also be confusing and you can loose your way when challenges emerge, especially when they are internal challenges. The goal of this workshop is to recognize the parts of you that are trying to drag you off course and learn to treat them with compassion, so that you can trust your true center and the journey has more ease and play. |
|
What You Can Expect to Gain:
- renewed and invigorated sense of direction and possibility
- clarity about what your blocks are
- compassion for the parts of you that are trying to get in the way
- tools for self nourishment and safety as you move into the risky vulnerable creative work that you are longing to do
- confidence that your dreams are solid and not over-blown
- a sense of peace and ease as you move into productivity
- more trust in yourself
- more compassion for yourself
- Less loneliness and isolation
It is winter!
As you hunker down in your studio, writing place, dance studio, or whatever your place of creative work is, you need to feel nourished and warm. You need to feel connected and supported. You need to feel like there is space in you to explore and express with ease and safety.
Lets make that happen!
The workshop will be a big boost, but if you would like some more regular community and accountability, check out the virtual co-working sessions.

I loved the atmosphere Val created in this workshop: It was kind, open and energizing – with a lot of humor. This enabled all the participants to connect with the sometimes deep and personal stuff that came up - and to have a great time as a group as well. Her insights are immensely helpful – as well as her powerful meditations and visualizations. That and to be with a group of like-minded people gave me a lot of energy and inspiration.

Val’s workshop was amazing! What a joy to come together with a group of open-hearted creatives. I walked away feeling connected to a community and much more aware of my inner-workings as an artist….with a tangible understanding of how to move forward when I feel stuck.
